Ask about independent pricing

A one-time license never needs the internet and never checks in. A subscription will check in online from time to time; if it lapses, Kisheet falls back to Kisheet Free (planned), so you can still open, read, mark up and sign your PDFs. Crash reports are on by default, and Kisheet asks before sending each one. Usage statistics are off unless you turn them on in the Welcome screen. Nothing else goes online. We never sell your data. How Kisheet handles data

Prices exclude taxes. A Company license covers one legal organization. Rows marked Planned are not built yet; the Free edition is planned, and its tools are built.

Per company, not per seat

Add estimators without adding to the bill.

Per-seat pricing makes you count heads: who gets a license, who shares, who is left out when a bid crunch hits. A Company license is one price for the organization.

  • Company means one legal organization, the entity that signs the license
  • Unlimited named employee accounts, with no per-seat fees
  • No reassigning seats when staff change
  • For your organization's own work. Reselling access to others is not allowed.
  • Employee accounts, groups and roles are Planned

How we worked this out

Per seat: your price × estimators, × 12 months for a monthly price and × the years you chose for a monthly or yearly price. A one-time seat price is counted once. Kisheet Company: the proposed prices on this page, for the whole company at any headcount. Buying once is counted once, because a one-time price does not repeat over a longer period. Not included: taxes, add-ons, volume discounts, and optional update renewals after the first 12 months of a one-time license (renewal pricing is not set).

Buy once vs subscribe

What you keep, what you get, what happens if you stop.

Neither mode locks up your work, and either way you get the same features. The difference is who pays for updates and when.

One-time desktop license
Pay once. Keep using it forever.

A perpetual license for the desktop app. Buy it, install it, and use every version you are entitled to with no expiry date.

  • Perpetual: keep using the versions you are entitled to, indefinitely
  • Includes 12 months of updates from purchase
  • You keep every version released in those 12 months. Renewal pricing isn't set yet.
  • Never needs the internet and never checks in
  • The license is never disabled when the update period ends
  • Best when you prefer a one-time purchase and a predictable cost
Monthly company subscription
One monthly price for the whole organization.

Per legal organization, with unlimited named employee accounts and no per-seat fees. Annual billing is available at a discount.

  • Updates are included for as long as you subscribe
  • Lower upfront cost than buying a license
  • Cancel anytime. Billing terms are not decided yet.
  • Checks in online from time to time. If it lapses, Kisheet falls back to Kisheet Free (planned): you can still open, read, mark up and sign your PDFs
  • Your takeoffs stay in your own PDFs after you cancel
  • Reasonable non-resale terms: for your organization's own work, not for reselling access

Employee account invitations and roles are planned, not built. Today the subscription is a company-level license.

All figures are proposals. Break-even compares list prices only and ignores optional renewals, which are not priced yet.

Pricing FAQ

Straight answers, including what is not decided.

What does "perpetual license" mean here?

You pay once and keep using every version you are entitled to, with no expiry. The license is never switched off when the 12-month update period ends. You simply stop receiving new versions unless you choose to renew.

How long do updates last, and what happens after the update window?

A purchase includes 12 months of updates. You keep every version released in that time, and it keeps working after the 12 months whether you renew or not. Renewal pricing isn't set yet, so we don't quote one.

What happens to my files if I cancel a subscription?

Kisheet falls back to Kisheet Free (planned), so you can still open, read, mark up and sign your PDFs. Your project files are stored locally and stay yours. Takeoffs and markups are saved inside your PDFs as standard annotations, so any PDF viewer can still show them after you cancel.

What exactly does "per company" mean?

One legal organization, the entity that signs the license. The Company plan has unlimited named employee accounts and no per-seat fees, under reasonable non-resale terms: it is for your organization's own work, not for reselling access. How affiliates and subsidiaries are treated is not decided yet. Tell us about your structure at contact.

Do contractors and 1099 workers count as employees?

Not decided yet, and we would rather say so than guess. The Company license is built around employees of the licensed organization. A self-employed estimator can ask us about independent pricing. The final license terms will spell out how outside contractors are handled.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Measurement, markup and estimating run on your PC against files you keep. A license is a signed file checked on your own computer. A one-time license never needs the internet and never checks in, and it is never switched off. A subscription will check in online from time to time; how often is not decided yet. A jobsite PC with no connection is activated from a request file.

What's in Kisheet Free?

Everything you need to read, mark up and sign plan sets, at no cost and for anyone: open, search and print PDFs; every markup tool, including stamps; signing and certifying; OCR, forms and redaction; page tools, links, attachments and XFDF. All measuring and takeoff (scale calibration, length, area, perimeter, counts and volume), the takeoff table, Excel links, compare, overlay and batch processing are in Company. Every one of these tools works in Kisheet today; the free edition isn’t released and has no date yet. Kisheet Free needs no account and works offline.

Is there a free trial?

Trial length isn't decided yet. It will be on this page before release, and before licenses go on sale.

What is the refund policy?

A full refund within 30 days of your company's first purchase, whether you buy once or subscribe. No questions asked. Cancelling a subscription stops the next renewal. The details are in the refund policy and the terms.

How do add-ons fit with the license?

After you buy the Company license, you can optionally buy individual modules. Local add-ons may be one-time with 12 months of module updates, and hosted services are recurring only. Nothing is forced into a bundle and none can be purchased yet. See the add-ons page.

How are taxes handled?

Not decided. The prices on this page do not include sales tax, VAT or similar charges. How tax is calculated and shown at checkout will be set before launch.

How does this compare with per-user subscriptions from other vendors?

Several well-known takeoff and markup tools charge per user. For example, Bluebeam's pricing page lists Revu at $260 to $590 per user a year, and its Revu 20 end-of-sale notice says perpetual sales ended September 30, 2023 (both read 22 October 2026). Details and sources: Kisheet vs Bluebeam Revu. Vendor pricing changes, so check before you decide.
