Each module is sold on its own. You are never required to buy a package to get the one thing you wanted. If we ever test a convenience bundle, it would be optional.
If your company already runs a CRM or workflow tool, you do not have to buy a module that duplicates it. Managed Integrations is there to connect to what you pay for already.
The base license is local-first and works offline. Hosted services are separate, recurring and entirely your choice.

Not decided. Monthly modules would stop with their subscription. Whether one-time local modules keep working alongside a cancelled base subscription is still being worked out, and we will say so clearly before anything is sold.
